Meltem Kurtsan, who was born
in Istanbul, has graduated from Atatürk High School for Girls by ranking first.
She has completed her undergraduate education in Istanbul University Pharmacy
Faculty in 1982. She has worked in different management levels of Kurtsan
Pharmaceuticals Inc. While,she is doing her masters degree at Istanbul
University Pharmacy Faculty, Phytotherapy Department, She is also the President
of Kurtsan Group of Companies (www.kurtsan.com)
since 2004.
During her career she
attended many business development trainings. She also finished the Harvard
Business School OPM (Owner President Management) Program in the summers of 1997,
1998 and 1999. She is nominated as Global Leader for Tomorrow by World Economic
Forum at 1999 at Davos. She passed the exams at Turkish Patent Institute and
became Trademark and Patent Attorney in the 2001.
She became a member to TUSIAD
in 2000 and was in charge for working groups for equality of women and men and
intellectual property. She leads the foundation of KADIGER (Women Entrepreneurs
Association of Turkey) (www.kagider.org)
in 2002 and was in charge for 2 years. She was also the member of board of
directors and advisory committee of Turkish Association of Corporate Governance
(TKYD) which was founded in 2003. In 2003-2004, she was also councillor at
Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO).
She is holding the presidency
of Women Entrepreneurs Committee working under the body of ITO and membership of
supreme board of Women Entrepreneurs Committee working under the body of TOBB,
founded in 2007.
She continues her duty as the
General Manager at MK Consultancy Training, which she has founded at 2002.
Dilek Tuna, who was graduated from Yasar Dedeman High
School, has worked as a sales representative in several companies till 2005.
Since then, she works as an executive assistant in the MK Consultancy Training. |
